Sparco QRT-R (2020) Racing Seat

The QRT-R was the first seat to feature Sparco’s patented QRT ultra-light technology. The QRT-R is the lightest “large” size fiberglass seat on the market. It is lighter than some of the competitors “medium” size seats. The QRT-R was specifically designed for a large driver and it fits a 36” waist driver comfortably. The QRT-R is unique because it was designed to fit a larger driver but has excellent fitment into smaller cockpits The QRT-R requires the special QRT-R Side mounts (#600QRT) which allows the seat to be racked back for a comfortable seating position. The QRT-R is FIA approved.

I purchased two of these seats for my Honda S2000 track car a few years back and after 3 years of use I can honestly say this a high quality product. The design of the seat is compact enough to fit in many different chassis ( s2k, Miata, Z3) and extremely light weight given a comparable Recaro seat will cost $500 more. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a seat in the sub $1k budget, and I’ve had a couple friends purchase the same seat Will the same experience. Side note: there is little to no visible wear to the seat after three years of abuse, no fading, tears, or rips from getting in and out!
